brazilian and bikini Waxing in Orlando
EXPERT Brazilian Waxing IN DOWNTOWN ORLANDO — FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
At Silken Aesthetics in Downtown Orlando, Brazilian waxing is our specialty — and our most-booked service. We use professional hard wax exclusively on all Brazilian and bikini services. Hard wax grips the hair, not the skin, making it cleaner, gentler, and more thorough than strip wax — especially in sensitive areas.
Whether it's your first Brazilian wax or you've been coming for years, every appointment is handled with precision, care, and zero shortcuts. No double-dipping. No rushing. No guessing. Just smooth, long-lasting results and skin that feels as good as it looks.

Get Smooth, Radiant Skin
Brazilian Wax + Calming Mask — Our Most Popular Service
If you're new to waxing, have sensitive skin, or have had a bad experience elsewhere — this is the service we built for you.
After your full professional hard wax, we apply a soothing calming mask to the entire treated area. It immediately calms redness, closes the pores, reduces inflammation, and leaves the skin smooth and comfortable — not raw, not irritated, not reactive.
Most of our new clients add the Calming Mask to their first appointment. Once they do, they never book without it.
$97 — Brazilian Wax + Calming Mask (Just $19 more than the standard Brazilian. The most popular upgrade we offer.)

Why Hard Wax Makes All the Difference
Not all waxing is the same — and if you've ever left a Brazilian wax appointment feeling raw, red, or irritated, the wax was likely the reason.
At Silken Aesthetics, we use professional hard wax on every Brazilian and bikini service. Hard wax works by adhering to the hair only — not the skin — which means less pain, less redness, and less trauma to sensitive areas. It also allows us to be more thorough and precise without damaging the skin.
We never double-dip and we always check for medications, retinoids, and skin sensitivities before starting — because what's already on your skin matters as much as the wax we use.
This is what professional Brazilian waxing in Orlando should feel like.
How to Prepare for Your Wax:
Allow at least 2 weeks worth of hair growth with the exception of the underarms which only need 5 days.
Exfoliate the area a day or two before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and help prevent ingrown hairs.
Arrive with clean skin. Avoid oils and creams on the areas being waxed.
Inform your Esthetician of any skin sensitivities before your waxing treatment.
Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing to avoid irritation after your wax.
Take an ibuprofen (optional) 30 minutes before your appointment to reduce sensitivity.
How to take care after Your Wax:
Dos
Schedule your next appointment with us 4-6 weeks after your initial visit to maintain optimal results.
Use our recommended after care products to prevent ingrown hairs between visits.
Don’ts
Avoid gym/ sauna and other strenuous activities that will cause irritation for 48 hours.
Refrain from touching the area(s) with unclean hands. This will cause bacteria to get trapped in your pores.
Avoid hot showers/baths as it can increase skin sensitivity.
Do not shave between treatments. This will disrupt the hair cycle and will cause the hair to grow back thick.
Thinking About Making the Switch to Laser?
Many of our Brazilian wax clients eventually transition to laser hair removal — and we offer that too. Silken Aesthetics' laser specialists use the Cynosure Elite IQ, safe for all skin tones including dark and olive complexions. Most clients see 70–80% permanent reduction in 8-10 sessions.
If you're curious, book a free laser consultation alongside your next wax appointment.

“I had never been waxed before, and was really worried it would hurt and be uncomfortable. Silken has been my go-to wax studio for almost two years, they are so professional but also so warm and kind. Some of the best women to see every three weeks, I recommend them to everyone who's never been waxed because there's no one better. An absolute MUST for anyone trying waxing for the first time”

Brazilian waxing is more comfortable than most people expect — especially when done with professional hard wax. Hard wax adheres to the hair only, not the skin, making it significantly less painful than strip wax. Most clients describe it as quick and very manageable. First-time clients often tell us it was much easier than they anticipated. If you're nervous about sensitivity, our Brazilian + Calming Mask service soothes the area immediately after your wax and makes a noticeable difference in comfort.

First-timers are always welcome at Silken Aesthetics. Before we start, we will walk you through the process, check for any sensitivities, and make sure you feel completely comfortable. The service takes 20–30 minutes. We use professional hard wax, which is gentler than strip wax, and we go at your pace. Most first-timers tell us it was much easier than they expected. We strongly recommend adding the Calming Mask to your first appointment — it soothes the area immediately after and makes the experience significantly more comfortable.

This depends on the amount of hair but expect around 15 to 30 minutes for your session. If it’s your first time, you should allow for a bit more time for Brazilian waxes. Overall, it won’t take long, and our experienced hands mean it will all be over quickly and with as little pain as possible.

Yes — waxing is generally safe during pregnancy. We recommend starting early in your pregnancy rather than waiting, as sensitivity increases as your pregnancy progresses. Let Chelsey know you are pregnant before your appointment so she can adjust positioning and technique for your comfort.

For safety and comfort, we do not allow additional guests in our treatment rooms. Extra people can be a distraction to the Esthetician and may increase anxiety for first-time clients. We strive to provide a calm and focused environment to ensure the best experience possible.

Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long — roughly the size of a grain of rice for the wax to grip effectively. For most clients, that means 2 weeks of growth from the last shave. Do not wax if hair is shorter than this. If hair is longer than 1/2 inch, you can trim with scissors — avoid electric trimmers as they can cut too close.

Most clients see results lasting 3–4 weeks. With regular waxing every 4–6 weeks, hair grows back progressively thinner, finer, and slower — meaning each appointment gets easier and results last longer over time. Hormones, medications, and individual growth cycles can affect how quickly hair returns.
